Riksteatern är Sveriges nationalscen för turnerande teater. Vi grundades 1933 för att hela landet, inte bara storstäderna, skulle ges tillgång till högkvalitativ scenkonst. Vi erbjuder teater, dans, musik och cirkus som sätter tankar och känslor i rörelse – för alla, överallt. Med cirka 1 miljon besökare varje år, närmare 40 000 medlemmar, över 200 lokala och regionala riksteaterföreningar och 50 anslutna organisationer är Riksteatern en levande folkrörelse och Sveriges största producerande turnéteater. Vi är hela Sveriges scen.

Dramaten är Sveriges nationalscen med ansvar att framföra såväl den klassiska dramatiken som nyskriven svensk och utländsk dramatik. År 1788 grundades Dramaten av Gustav III och Dramatenhuset vid Nybroplan invigdes 1908. Varje år spelar Dramaten cirka 1000 föreställningar för omkring 250 000 personer på sju egna scener samt på turné. Teatern har omkring 330 årsanställda, varav cirka 90 skådespelare. Dramaten är ett statligt aktiebolag som leds av en styrelse utsedd av regeringen. VD är Kitte Wagner och Teaterchef / Konstnärlig ledare är Mattias Andersson.

The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1902 and Konserthuset Stockholm has been its home since 1926. The blue concert hall at Hötorget is one of Stockholm’s most recognisable buildings. The bylaws stipulate that the Stockholm Concert Hall Foundation is “intended to realise artistic and cultural aims”. It shall pursue active music operations by giving concerts, and for this purpose it shall “maintain and preserve” a fixed orchestra in Stockholm, called the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. The vision is for Konserthuset Stockholm to be one of Europe’s most innovative and accessible concert halls. Its offering shall be of the highest international quality. The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra shall be one of the music world’s most discussed and respected orchestras, continuously recognised for its high quality and musical curiosity. Region Stockholm is the primary financier of the foundation.
