Ortecha is a practitioner-led data, AI and technology consultancy. We specialise in turning complexity into clarity and ambition into lasting capability, helping enterprise organisations deliver practical change and real value. Our story began in 2010, when three practitioners came together around a problem they couldn’t ignore. Too many transformation programmes were built around technology-fixes rather than the people expected to make them succeed. They created expensive solutions, confused teams and rarely delivered what had been promised. There had to be a better way. So we built it. That belief still shapes how we work today. We combine deep technical expertise with a pragmatic, human-first approach. Our practitioners work alongside client teams from the first question and direction setting, through implementation and adoption, making sure the answer fits the organisation and works in practice. Ortecha Ltd was officially born in 2017. We now have teams across the UK, US and Canada, working with ambitious enterprise clients spanning strategy and governance, readiness and enablement, architecture & engineering, technology transformation, operating models, cyber security, literacy and culture. In November 2025, we announced our merger with Broadgate Consultants, bringing together our data and AI expertise with Broadgate’s technology transformation capability. Broadgate continues to operate under its own name during the transition. We know there is no one-size-fits-all answer.
