Durra Panel is a unique rigid building slab that combines the desirable properties of; strength, sound and thermal insulation together with a high degree of fire resistance. The panel is produced through a unique environmentally friendly dry extrusion process that converts a natural and plentiful resource; wheat or rice straw fibre, into durable construction panels. The manufacturing process requires no water or gas and is completely free of chemical additives and binding agents. The result is zero toxic waste and a construction material that is 99.9% free of any volatile organic compounds. Durra Panel may be used on its own or be combined with a wide range of Durra steel and aluminium sections to deliver complete roof/ceiling and wall construction systems; Commercial, Industrial and Residential applications-Durra Building Systems. Ortech Industries also provides an innovative lifting frame installation method for Durra Panel roof/ceiling and wall cladding systems. Large modules of Durra Panel and Durra Steel Sections are assembled on ground, then crane hoisted and connected to the building structure. The Lifting Frame system of installation eliminates approximately 80% of labour time associated with working at heights, increases on site safety and reduces project build times.
