MICO S.r.l. is a company that, under the trade mark of ORT Italia is able to produce all the types of thread rolling machine, which also means spare parts' production and services providing like assistance rather than machines' updating. For these purposes, the company bought all of the intellectual propriety of old OTR Italia (machines' drawings, commercial components' definitions, electrical/hydraulic diagrams, software and market references, etc...). The philosophy of the new company is not completely realized in the simply manufacturing of all the ORT machines, including related spares and services. Conversely, the new technical staff, well qualified in automation systems, decided to invest also in the automation of all the devices in order to improve their accuracy and their productivity, making the use of the machine less linked with the workers' experience.
