ORPALIS is creator, developer and owner of the comprehensive document imaging toolkit series released under the brand "GdPicture", which is now a worldwide known and respected leader in imaging technologies. In 2009, ORPALIS co-founded DEKALOGIC, the Company which develops and owns "PaperLight", an innovative document management software which uses the GdPicture SDK as imaging platform. In 2010, ORPALIS releases PaperScan, marking the begining of a new line of products meant for end-users. n 2012-2013, ORPALIS released ORPALIS PDF Reducer, a powerful PDF compression Software for the general public as well as for developers. In 2013, ORPALIS released from its Labs two more tools named Virtual Barcode Reader and the ORPALIS DICOM Viewer. Both tools are free. In early 2014, ORPALIS released the MICR demo from its Labs, a free tool demonstrating the high accuracy and processing speed of the ORPALIS MICR engine. All ORPALIS applications for the general public are based on the GdPicture.NET SDK, ORPALIS's flagship product. On January 2015, a new product graduated from ORPALIS Labs and got its official release: DocuVieware, ORPALIS's universal HTML5 Viewer and Document Management Kit.
