Over the past 25 years, Mr. O'Rourke has established himself as a leader in the government contracting sector. As President of O’Rourke Advisory Services, Mr. O'Rourke is responsible for driving the firm's operational excellence and financial performance. His strategic vision and partnership-building efforts are aimed at helping new and existing entities grow their operations and revenue in the competitive government contracting market. Before assuming his current role, Mr. O'Rourke spent 14 years at Ahtna, Inc., where he held multiple executive leadership positions. He most notably led Ahtna Federal Holdings, LLC, overseeing four subsidiaries with combined revenues exceeding $150 million annually. His tenure at Ahtna was marked by chairing 11 joint ventures, securing over $6 billion in awarded contract capacity, and executing more than $600 million in government contracts. These projects included diverse endeavors such as facilities construction, major levee repairs, airfield paving, marina renovations, lock and dam repairs, and environmental remediation. Mr. O'Rourke’s career also includes significant roles at Terracon Consultants, Foster Wheeler Environmental, Tetra Tech, and Arcadis, where he gained extensive program and project management experience.
