Established in 1991, ORIX Aviation is a global leading aircraft lessor, aviation investor, and full-service aircraft asset manager based in Dublin (Ireland), Dubai and Tokyo with a stellar track record of aviation investment spanning three decades. A key to ORIX Aviation’s success over its +30 year tenure is its strong and experienced management team and staff led by James Meyler. ORIX Aviation is a 100% subsidiary of our parent ORIX Corporation, which is IG rated and listed on the New York and Tokyo stock exchanges. ORIX Aviation owns and manages over 200 aircraft and leases them to more than 50 airlines located in over 30 countries. ORIX Aviation are focused primarily on investing and trading opportunities in the aircraft leasing and asset management space while maintaining a strong Balance Sheet and funding to support future growth. Our trading activity supports both the growth of our owned aircraft fleet, as well as the growth of aircraft stock to trade to investors / joint ventures for whom ORIX acts as asset manager. In addition, ORIX Aviation are a best in class remarketing agent with a strong network that enables bespoke solutions for our clients and customers. ORIX Aviation’s unique asset management platform attracts both domestic Japanese and international investors and is one of the few S&P ranked lease servicers worldwide. ORIX holds an overall “Strong” lease servicer ranking from S&P, the highest ranking available, with a stable outlook. Since inception we have delivered over US $40bn of transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing and servicing agreements, and in 2018, we acquired a 30% ownership stake of top three lessor, Avolon.
