Origins is a competitive dance team representing the University of Waterloo. Founded in 2015, it is a place where people from diverse backgrounds come together to do what they love - dance. Our motto is “remember your roots,” which acts as a reminder of all of our hard work and keeps us grounded in our unique experiences. Although we value talent, we believe that work ethic and having a good heart is the most crucial and essential part of being a dancer.
