Original World offers in-depth special interest small group and custom, private tours. Our itineraries are extensively researched and enhanced with our personal local relationships. While we do visit all the highlights of a tour's region, we strive to create unique experiences that are authentic and personal. Original World tours strike a balance between cultural immersion, comfort and value. Most tours use four and five star hotels and, where available, locally-owned and heritage properties such as converted palaces, forts, guesthouses and private mansions. Of course in the remote regions such as the northeastern tribal India, hotels will be basic. All hotels selected have attached western bathrooms, are clean and serve "safe" food. Both western and local guides are employed. All are college educated and experts in their specialty or region.
