Petlas Tire Industry Appoints Oriente Petlas as Exclusive Distributor for Petlas PCR/LTR and SUV Tires for the US Petlas Tire Industry has signed an exclusive sales agreement for the US market with Oriente Tire USA, based in Miami, Florida. The distribution deal is part of Petlas’ plan for global expansion which focuses on the development of their PCR/LTR and SUV tire lines. Petlas is widely known in the US market for its range of Agricultural (Radial) and OTR tires. Petlas tires are manufactured in Turkey and are not subject to A/D or C/V duties which makes them very competitive. Oriente Tire USA is a new independent unit created by Gus Lima and Marco Zigni, principals in Oriente Triangle Latin America, Inc., which has a long relationship with Petlas Tire in Latin America. Petlas produces PCR, SUV and LTR tire in sizes ranging from 12” to 20”. The line includes Run-Flat tires developed with Petlas’ own know-how. All Petlas tires are DOT marked, are covered by product liability and offer DDP affordable prices. Petlas is considered the world’s No. 55 tire maker. Production at its Kırşehir, Turkey plant is rated at 11 million car tires, 1.5 million agricultural tires, 850,000 TBR tires, and 400,000 OTR tires. The company has invested nearly $775 million since 2005 to increase capacity.
