The Organization for Transformative Works (OTW) is a non-profit organization established by fans to serve the interests of fans by providing access to and preserving the history of fanworks and fan culture in its myriad forms. Founded in 2007, we seek to give fans control and ownership of their own creations and a means to preserve the history of their fanworks and fandoms. We recruit in various areas such as coding, systems administration, technical support, human resources, legal, finance, fundraising, translation, documentation, graphic artists, platform design, strategic planning, editors and proofreaders, academic reviewers, wiki management, and communications. In addition, we have unique positions such as tag wranglers, who classify content at our most used project, the Archive of Our Own.
