Organic Essentials Inc Information

Organic Essentials is the recipient of a USDA Value-Added Agricultural Grant (VAPG Funds) entitled "Organic Cotton Market Expansion Project". According to the VAPG program, the $450,000 grant monies awarded last January may be used for planning activities and working capital for marketing value-added agricultural products. "We are very pleased to participate in this program to further public awareness of organic cotton agriculture and organic cotton products," announced LaRhea. "Our goal is to expand current markets and develop new markets through brand awareness and educational promotions which will include consumer fliers and other POP materials, in-store demos, sampling, seminars and trainings on organic fiber and Organic Essentials products." Adds LaRhea, "From the beginning, our companies (Organic Essentials, Cotton Plus and TOCMC) have always played a key role in consumer education and activism - taking a leadership role in organic cotton production and use in the U.S." No types of toxic chemicals are used in the growing of the cotton or in finished products. Organic Essentials has been manufacturing high quality, certified organic personal care items such as cotton swabs, rounds and cotton balls since 1996.
