The OSPOA was formed in 1984 and represents nearly 700 Patrol Troopers, Criminal Investigators, Fish and Wildlife Troopers, Forensic Scientists, Dispatchers, Trades Maintenance Workers and Communications Technicians. These members provide services that protect the citizens and natural resources of the State of Oregon and make Oregon safer and more livable for its citizens and the visitors to this great state. The OSPOA protects the welfare of these members and are dedicated to serving their needs on the job and in the community. The OSPOA provides a voice for the members in the Oregon Legislature, working to ensure fair pay and benefits, adequate funding and officer safety standards. We also provide scholarship opportunities for children of OSPOA members. We invite you to take a look around and learn more about our organization and the programs we offer and support. We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and that you find it useful and informative. Don't forget to check out our members only resources section and feel free to contact us if we can be of any service to you.
