At Orchid, an earnest attempt is made to provide to the day scholars as much exposure as is provided to the residential scholars within the constraints and possibilities of the time table. Residential school teachers usually have advanced degrees in their field, are typically passionate about their subject and love to teach it to children. Students on campus get to interact with such teachers in leisurely settings. Boarders get to participate in the preparations of all the school functions providing them with opportunities to work in different types of teams and on different types of projects. Boarders get better opportunities for assembly presentations and participation. The good sports facilities can only be used if enough time is available and hence the boarders have better and wider possibilities.
