Orchard Valley Christian Church is a very young church. OVCC had its earliest beginning when Agape Bible Church, under the leadership of Pastor Jerry Chung, was founded in 1978 by Chinese-American Christians from the San Francisco and Oakland areas who had moved to the Silicon Valley. Seeing the growing number people of Asian-descent in this area and the lack of Asian-American churches, Orchard Valley Christian Church was formed in 1993. In the following year, Pastor Peter Borromeo was hired as OVCC's first pastor. During the first 10 years of OVCC's existence, the church established itself as a multi-cultural, multi-generational ministry. With the desire to deepen its spiritual maturity and be further equipped for ministry and mission, OVCC received Pastor Curt Ogawa as its lead pastor in January 2005. Along with a new pastor, OVCC has established a new leadership team to pursue God's dream in this new season of ministry.
