The Basque Energy Cluster is made up of all the main stakeholders in the Basque energy value chain: operators, equipment and component manufacturing, engineering, services companies, research centres and the public administration bodies. It currently has 160 members and plans projects in partnership with businesses for the fields of internationalisation, technological development, business innovation and training. The Cluster is a non-profit organisation which was set up at the end of 1996 within the framework of the Basque Government's policy to foster the competitiveness of the industrial sector.
