Founded in France in the late 1960s, ORAPI grew rapidly under the leadership of Guy Chifflot, who became the majority shareholder in 1992. ORAPI established its first Asian subsidiary in Singapore in 2004, marking the beginning of its regional presence. This expansion continued in 2006 with the acquisition of Applied Chemicals in Singapore and Malaysia, strengthening its capabilities and customer reach across Southeast Asia. In 2011, ORAPI further expanded into Thailand through the acquisition of Complete Care System Co. Ltd. In 2012, the company established its first Middle East subsidiary in Dubai, extending its presence throughout the region. Today, ORAPI Asia has become ORAPI Maintenance Asia, reinforcing its position within the GPO Group and reflecting a renewed ambition for growth across Asia.
