The Orange County Bird of Prey Center is a state and federally licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that strives to ensure a healthy raptor population for generations to come. Raptors include falcons, owls, hawks, vultures, and eagles, as well as a few other species. We do this important work through a three-tiered approach: rehabilitation, release, and education. As a primarily volunteer-run organization, we strongly believe that education is the best solution to prevent many of the challenges that these birds face. Creating opportunities for people to better understand the natural world around them helps inspire innovation, creativity, and compassion.
