Established in 1895, the Sunnyside School District offers K-12 education to students residing in Sunnyside and Outlook. We continue to offer a variety of enrichment courses that follow our academic time with our certified teachers. Those enrichment activities include piano and music apprecation, digital photography, art projects, spanish, hands on science, computer applications, lego construction, sports and fitness, cooking and sewing. The Independent Scholar Program is offered to families who wish to customize the learning activities for their children. We provide support with instruction and curriculum to enhance the learning that is taking place at home. Our program schedule is as follows: Monday for grades K-2, Tuesday for grades 3 & 4, Wednesday for grades 5-8 and Thursday for grades 9-12. Our curriculum is geared towards students completing all state requirements and obtaining their high school diploma. Students have an option to ride the school bus to and from school.
