OPUS Hadsel is a competence – centre in Hadsel municipality in Vesterålen – Norway. The centre is owned by Hadsel videregående skole (upper secondary school) in the area – Melbu and Stokmarknes. The centre was created in 1996. Melbu Upper Secondary School had lots of experience arranging courses for private companies and public institutions ind the region In 1996 they helped establishing OPUS which is now responsible for implementing these couses. As of today, the “mother school” have lots of projects and courses that OPUS is responsible for.
