Optivation is a scientifically embedded company in the Danish maritime cluster that develops advanced optimization and data analytics software. Our main expertise is fast optimization algorithms for automated containership stowage planning. Optivation was founded in 2007 and has carried out R&D projects with Maersk Line. In 2013, Optivation formed a partnership with Interschalt (now NAVIS) and currently supplies optimization modules for the Xvela and StowMan product line. The company has 10 employees of which 7 hold a PhD in computer science.
