Optimal Satcom is the leading provider of enterprise systems and services for the planning and management of satellite capacity, SATCOM network design and optimization. Formed in 2002 as a spin-off from Lockheed Martin and COMSAT Corporation, Optimal Satcom continues a long tradition of excellence in research and development in satellite communications with leading products and services in its market area. Optimal Satcom offers a comprehensive suite of products including the industry leading Enterprise Capacity Manager® (ECM™), COMPLAN®, and COMSAT STAR® Suite. Our commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products and customized systems are used to manage a significant portion of the world's commercial and military satellite capacity. We also offer training and technical consulting services to assist satellite companies to efficiently manage their capacity. Our customers include satellite operators, VSAT service providers, media companies, value-added satellite capacity resellers (VARs), government civilian and military programs, and non-governmental organizations. Organizations that own, lease, or manage a significant portion of satellite capacity will benefit from the use of our products and services. Our products are also used during the analysis and design of satellite systems and networks.
