OPTIMA STAINLESS LTD Information

A little bit of history about us and the equipment that we have; Optima Stainless is a family owned company which started life in 1992 and has grown into a multi-metal stockholder and processor. We have over 3 million pounds worth of stock in Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Aluminium and can obtain most metals of all sizes. We have 7 dedicated stock holder specialists and 10 Laser draftspersons to design and process any amount of items. We have been offering a Laser Cutting Service since 2011 supported by the most up to date Laser Technology. We have three Bystronic machines; - Our Byspeed 4020 has cutting capabilities of up to 12mm in Aluminium, 20mm in Stainless Steel and 20mm in Mild Steel and boasts a 4000 x 2000 interchangeable cutting area using a Co2 generated beam. Two Fibre Optic Lasers, both have interchangeable cutting areas of 3000 x 1500. - The 3kw Bysprint has the cutting capacity to cut up to 10mm Aluminium, 12mm Stainless Steel and 15mm Mild Steel. This is one of the quickest machines we have, working with a cutting of 12 metres per min (on thinner gauge materials) whilst achieving a consistent cutting accuracy of within 0.1mm. - Our 6kw Bysprint uses the same Fibre Optic Technology as the 3kw but with twice the power. This enables us to cut thicknesses up to 30mm Aluminium, 25mm Stainless Steel and 25mm Mild steel. It can also cut at twice the speed of the 3kw (across thinner gauge materials) and still maintain the 0.1mm accuracy. We also do in-house folding of all materials, to which we also have three machines; Modern, automated, Bystronic Xpert40, Xpert150 & Xpert320, allowing for folding tonnage of 40, 150 & 320 respectively, these machines will be able to fold most materials which we are able to supply, dependant on grade, and more. WE ARE EXPANDING LATE 2017 WITH ANOTHER 16-19000 SQ FOOT WAREHOUSE AND A PLASMA MACHINE IN A DEDICATED WAREHOUSE!!!
