Opticool is the serviceprovider in the transhipment and storage of fresh fruit in the port of Rotterdam. Opticool offers a total package of services to her partners, and we arrange the whole logistical process, from arrival at the terminals in Antwerp and Rotterdam up untill the moment of delivery. Our tailor-made services encompass every aspect of the import of fruit; Transhipment, storage, containertransport, customs, inspections and sorting and repacking facilities. Opticool offers all these services under one roof, located in the middle of the port of Rotterdam. We strive to build long-term relations with both our partners and our suppliers, and good working realtions with all authorities involved. The interest of our partners are always our leading concern in all our dealings. In 2009, Opticool relocated to new facilities in the Keiletraat in Rotterdam. This location has been improved and expanded over the years. Opticool has become one of the leading companies for the transhipment and storage of fresh fruit. Opticool has 19.000 m2 of controlled temperature storage, divided over 20 rooms with 27 dockshelters. The Opticool organisation consists of three fully integrated companies; Freshlogistics, Freshpacking and Stevedoring. Opticool is HACCP, BRC, IFS and SKAL certified, and is official banana weighing station. Opticool is also NVWA and KCB inspection location and fully AEO certified.
