Optickle Ltd. is an international agency for audio visual content. Optickle visuals are video projections manipulated in real-time by VJs (Video or Visual Jockeys). Concerts or parties, corporate events or fashion shows, plays or art performances - Optickle flabbergasts. Optickle videos are visualised ideas in different kinds of movie genres. Optickle creates unique movie collages by mixing images from computers, DVD players, cameras and other video sources. By using Optickle's own video sampling software Visulator and scratchable DVD players (Pioneer DVJ-X1) visuals become as flexible as music. Since the mid 1990's the Optickle VJs (video or visual jockeys) have been involved in many audio-visual projects. Optickle has been touring the world with bands and DJs. Using its own or found footage Optickle develops customised visuals for corporate costumers and artists. PROJECTS (SELECTION) 100 MOUTHWATERING MENUS Since 1998 the Optickle VJs and the DJs Dustbowl and Kev The Head run the Mouthwatering club nights in Switzerland. They performed at numerous festivals such as Ars Electronica Linz, M for Music, Solothurner Filmtage Closing Party, expo.02, 3B Belgrade, Vision, Motion. ZÜRI WEST 1999 Optickle VJs were touring Switzerland and Germany with legendary Swiss rock band Züri West on their 'Super-8-Tour'. MANUFACTUR From 1998 until 2003 the Optickle VJs were on tour with the electro jazz band Manufactur. They played in Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Slovenia. MAHATTAAT In 2003 the Optickle VJs were producing live visuals on Palestinian singer Kamilya Jubran's project "Mahattaat-Stations". They had performances in Egypt, France, Germany, Sweden, Slovenia and Switzerland. Optickle invents software and authors audio and video rich media applications. A solid knowledge of all the possibilities of new media technologies helps Optickle to develop useful tools. The audio visual presentation software Visulator is a perfect example for Optickle's new media products. VISULATOR Visulator is a software for displaying and manipulating audio visual content. Video movies, Flash and Shockwave 3D animations, pictures and text can be played either by using a computer keyboard or a midi device. Different video effects can be triggered in real-time by hand or by sound. Visulator 2.5 allows up to four layers of media content playing at the same time. The image sequences can be broadcast to any video device in a resolution of up to 1024 x 768 pixels. Visulator is available for MAC (OS X) and PC (Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP).
