Optical Underground was founded in 1998 with the mission to protect independent craft and design. We partner exclusively with independent designers to offer unique eyewear at affordable prices. Our finds are curated from overstock & past season collections – which means that no two frames are exactly alike. Our in-house lab creates custom lenses for every lifestyle. Our family has been in the optical business since 1911. We use our expertise and all inclusive approach to outfit eyewear from start to finish— all while maintaining a collaborative working environment that feels like home.
