Oppstrøms Information

Oppstrøms has been Norway’s leading fly fishing media since 2016. It has regularly featured the best Scandinavian fly fishing writers and photographers in addition to leading international writers in translation (amongst others Ted Leeson, Dylan Tomine and Langdon Cook). It is the only Norwegian fly fishing magazine that systematically covers conservation issues and has published pieces setting the agenda in national aquaculture and wilderness conservation debates. In spring 2020, Oppstrøms launched a triannual print magazine with distribution all over Scandinavia. The print magazine is primarily written in Norwegian, but will also feature pieces in Swedish, Danish and English. Our ambition is not only to publish original storytelling about fly fishing and nature, but also creating a long lasting creative and cultural hub for fly fishers across Scandinavia.
