Operation Homebrew Information

The business has given the owners the opportunity to meet people from all over Georgia who love wine, especially sweet wine - and a lot of people who love the process of making wine (and don't even drink!). The natural progression of the business was to include a winery. The owners recently upgraded "the best darn homebrew store in Georgia" to include a winery focusing on southern style sweet wines. Before moving the business to Snellville in 2014, they started working with Snellville City officials to amend the laws to allow for wineries, breweries, and distilleries. As a Georgia farm winery, Operation Homebrew produces at least 40% of its wines from fruit grown in Georgia. With the recent culmination of that process Operation Homebrew opened the first winery in Snellville. The winery offers small batch, handmade wines focusing on quality, not quantity. Operation Homebrew specializes in Southern Style Sweet Wines: Blackberry, Blueberry, Peach Apricot, Sangria, Green Apple, Black Cherry, Black Raspberry, Strawberry, and more! They will begin selling premium wines later this year. The premium wines will include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Moscato, Riesling, and more!
