Our mission is to support older adults and caregivers through the opportunities and challenges of aging. We work throughout the Greater Washington, DC area and beyond to educate, advocate, and
provide community-based services to help people age well and live well.
When it comes to aging and caregiving, everyone has different needs. That's why we offer a full range of services. Adult day health services for some, consultations and long-term care planning with experts for others. Community programs like meals, fitness classes, and arts. Recreational activities that promote a healthy lifestyle. Support groups and presentations to build community, and more.

At Avenidas, we seek to create a community that supports and celebrates older adults. We provide a wide range of support options, information, and services that enable people to stay active, maintain their independence, help their aging parents, or care for a spouse.
