Open Roads Information

We believe that time in nature, first-hand experiences, and listening to the stories of others is the best education the world has to offer. For more than 20 years we have been delivering adventures that combine reflective time in nature, intentional conversations, and an introduction to the creative documentary arts of photography, film, and writing to inspire young adults to form a deep-seated belief in their ability to create a happy and healthy life. We are now expanding to help students find other experiential travel and personal growth opportunities, as well as offering year-round coaching to provide mentorship during the pivotal life transition from high school to college, and beyond. Open Roads is an additive to the traditional school experience, helping students access the power of out-of-school learning to develop the essential life skills that are the most predictive of positive life outcomes.
