Our open-source impact library empowers thousands of communicators, creators and changemakers globally with trusted, high-quality footage and data of our changing planet. Grounded in storytelling expertise, we were founded by award-winning filmmakers at Open Planet Studios – the team behind Ocean with David Attenborough and other landmark productions. Together with our global network of visionary collaborators, we are documenting the world's most pressing challenges and solutions, and democratising this content for storytellers everywhere. All content featured in our library is free for education and impact, with a growing collection also available for commercial use. We are an independent Community Interest Company, also known as a social enterprise, and an identified beneficiary of Friends of Open Planet which has 501c3 status. We are a proud member of the UN's SDG Media Compact.
