Open Parachute Information

Open Parachute is a K–12 mental health and well-being program that equips schools to take a proactive, whole-school approach to prevention by teaching students a practical skillset to support their mental health. Through authentic video stories from real youth, paired with structured, easy-to-deliver lessons, the program helps educators create safe, supportive classrooms where students build resilience, self-awareness, and coping skills. Designed to integrate within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Open Parachute provides evidence-informed, ready-to-use resources that support both students and educators, shifting the focus from crisis response to early intervention and everyday mental health support.
