Open Library Hosting provides libraries and library consortia with IT consulting and hosted open source enterprise systems. Many libraries like open source software, but opt for proprietary systems because they don't have the resources to setup and maintain them. Since this are mission critical systems they want to be able to call and have someone fix it for them if there is a problem. We collaborate with libraries for creating and maintaining these systems. We provide a blend between a full self hosted open source systems, where the libraries IT staff has to do everything and hosted system that have limited customization and configurations. We take care of the infrastructure and back-end pieces and let the library decide what they want for the front end. Letting the library decide how much front end work they want to do and letting us take care of the rest.
