OPEN BETHLEHEM is an international campaign that works to promote global engagement with Bethlehem as a real and contemporary city in the Middle East. OPEN BETHLEHEM’s vision is the removal of the Israeli Wall stifling Bethlehem and its population. We want Bethlehem to continue to be an open city, existing as a home to ancient and diverse communities and a beacon and model for the region. Our vision for Bethlehem is a thriving Palestinian centre with a prosperous spiritual, cultural and commercial life that is a source of pride to Palestinian culture and aspirations. OPEN BETHLEHEM exists to advocate and proactively promote support for a free and flourishing Bethlehem city within a vibrant and sovereign Palestine, through the use of digital multimedia strategies alongside targeted audience outreach programmes.
