Founded in 1989 in Watertown, South Dakota, Onyx has grown into one of the Midwest's premier electronic contract manufacturers by focusing on operating as an extension of the customer's organization and delivering on promises. In 2011, Onyx opened a technical sales office in Minnesota's Twin Cities to more closely integrate company experts in an area that features a growing customer base. Today, Onyx is ranked in the top 70 EMS providers and, as an Everett Smith Group Ltd Company, has the financial support necessary to continue controlled sustainable growth while adhering to the basic commitment to provide the levels of support that has become the standard Onyx customers expect. As Onyx grows into its future, the company will operate from a newly expanded 130,000 square foot manufacturing facility that is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2012.
