Onsite Brewing Information

ONSITE BREWING COMPANY, Anchorage AK, is a community-focused, neighborhood nano-brewery. We are one of the smallest breweries in Alaska at a 1bbl brewhouse size, and the first brewery to open in Midtown. We produce small batches of high quality, carefully crafted brews. The Taproom is a friendly, unassuming gathering space, to enjoy a beer while you plan your next adventure or celebrate your latest one. At Onsite we are passionate about the outdoors, new adventure and good beer. In climbing, 'ONSITE' means to finish a climb the first time you try it. This term is the ideal name for our brewery since we wanted it to be inspired by our joint dedication to the climbing community and good beer!. Our location near the Alaska Rock Gym and REI is the perfect space to start our small climbing/adventure-inspired brewery. To begin we are going to be small, but over time we will grow and improve our space into something great! HOW DID THE DREAM BEGIN? As a professional mountain guide and a competitive gym climber, we bonded over our passion for climbing and a constant desire for new adventures. When we met we realized we needed a joint hobby to do when Tom was back from expeditions and Amber was having rest days from rock climbing. This is when we began brewing. Over the past 6+ years, this pastime has turned into a profession. Our beers have placed in competitions and festivals in Washington and Alaska.
