Motto of the Onom Foundation: Inspiring Solutions The Onom Foundation is an operating foundation, with a mission to address challenges in healthcare and education in Mongolia with forward-looking, practical, and sustainable solutions based on breakthrough innovation and technology with an ultimate goal of making a tangible difference in lives of people. Name & Meaning: The Onom Foundation is named after our founders’ beloved grandfather, Onom Navaan. In Tibetan, Onom means the edge of the universe and in Sanskrit, it means spreading knowledge, appropriately reflecting the mission of the Onom Foundation. Inspiration & Commitment: Our founders' grandfather’s love of his family, his people, and his country and his willingness to sacrifice his needs in order to help other nomads captured the imagination of the founders of the Onom Foundation and continue to remind their profound responsibility in helping to empower ordinary people to build a better future for their families.
