Berry Street has spent generations working with children, young people and families experiencing trauma, abuse and disadvantage. Since 1877, we have been committed to creating safe, healthy homes and helping families build the futures they imagine for themselves. Berry Street is proudly part of Berry Street Yooralla. Berry Street Yooralla is a family and disability services organisation supporting children, young people, families, and people with disability to be safe, included and supported to lead their best lives, free from violence, abuse, neglect, and discrimination. Berry Street Yooralla’s mission is to foster wellbeing through the strength of relationships and communities by providing support, education and pathways to home. The formation of Berry Street Yooralla in 2024 brings two centuries of frontline expertise in the family and disability support services space. By delivering integrated, trauma-informed and disability-aware supports across child protection, youth justice, education, family violence, disability services, housing and employment, Berry Street Yooralla addresses critical gaps to create a safer, more supportive society for all.
