One Bread Information

On January 1, 2005, One Bread began to invite all believers in Jesus Christ all over the world to be on the "same page" reading the same scriptures on the same day until the Lord returns. We believe that reading through the Bible together will not only give us a level of accountability with other believers, but will mature and bring us to a place where God can use us more effectively and powerfully, "till we all come" ... "unto the full measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:13. As we draw closer to God, through his word, we will be drawn closer to each other as well. Our purpose is to be used through Christ is to bring the body of Christ (all believers) together to be "of one accord." That is each having the supreme desire to know Him and having fellow with each other. Paul says it like this; "Fulfill my joy, being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind." Philippians 2:2. Jesus prayed, "That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that You sent me." John 17:21. We believe that "He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in all things He might have the preeminence." Colossians 1:18.
