Oncostellae is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing differentiated small-molecule therapeutics for diseases with significant unmet medical need. The company’s primary focus is OST-122, its Phase IIb-ready, gut-restricted oral therapy for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). IBD ASSET PHASE 2b-READY AND OPEN TO PARTNERING OST-122 is a differentiated, gut-restricted oral small molecule designed to deliver potent anti-inflammatory activity directly within the gastrointestinal tract while minimizing systemic exposure. OST-122 inhibits JAK3, TYK2 and ARK5, combining the rapid efficacy and oral convenience associated with JAK inhibition with a pharmacological profile specifically designed to address the class’s key limitation: systemic exposure and its associated safety concerns. In a Phase IIa study in patients with moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis, OST-122 achieved clinical remission in 22% of treated patients versus 0% on placebo after only 28 days of treatment, while demonstrating a favorable safety profile. OST-122 is now Phase IIb-ready.
