Our vision: To provide intelligent tools to feed the world
Our mission: We are an agri-tech and data analytics company using aerial imagery and advanced machine learning algorithms to optimize crop performance for fruit producers around the world. We make it possible for fruit growers and marketers to use our data to better measure, manage and optimize their fruit production.
Our impact to date: Since 2014, we've helped producers manage over 65 million trees with clients in 18 countries, including Africa, USA, Spain, and Australia.

RoboDynamics is the first company in the world to be commercializing an enterprise-grade robotic telepresence platform. Robot Telepresence enables the instant teleportation of a user to remote location by having a life-size robot act as the user's avatar.
Vision Robotics Corporation (VRC) has developed a proprietary and patented technology to produce robots that can understand and work in the real world. Our solutions employ vision-based mapping, localization, and navigation systems. Coupling our mature vision algorithms with the output of additional sensors provides a robust base for many applications. In short, VRC has created a uniquely robust and cost effective approach to robotics. The company was founded in 1999, when the convergence of three factors-lower cost components, demand for efficient labor solutions across multiple industries, and significant advances in robotics technology-indicated that robotics was ready to move out of the lab and into the marketplace. Vision Robotics capitalized on the opportunity and began developing its world-class autonomous robotics solutions based on its Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) system. Those early years saw systems that sometimes had to compromise between operational speed, accurate performance and cost. In the intervening years, the cost of computer power has continued to fall and the advent of new solid-state sensors has opened much more of the world to mechanization. Our vision-based algorithms enable robots to autonomously create three-dimensional maps of unknown areas of interest whether this is mapping a building or modeling a grapevine. The maps and models enable robots to intelligently and accurate perform a myriad of tasks whether it is vacuuming a floor or pruning a grapevine. While most of our applications have systems that work up to a brisk walking pace, modern processors can enable robots to autonomously operate effectively in very complex environments and at speeds of up to and beyond 10 miles per hour. Vision Robotics, based in San Diego, is capitalized through private funding, partnerships and grants. There are no articles in this category.
