Omnitech has been an integral part of some exciting and record breaking projects such as Canada's UNCLOS research, Arctic Surveillance, NATO's Next Generation Autonomous Systems (NGAS) project and many others. Located in Dartmouth Nova Scotia Canada in close proximity to Canada’s East Coast Navy, Coast Guard, Department of Fisheries and Oceans and other research institutes. Omnitech's has design, fabrication and test facilities for electronic hardware and integrated hardware/software solutions. In addition, Omnitech routinely contracts state-of-the-art subsea test facilities at Defense Research and Development Canada which include, deep water test facility, salt water immersion tank, acoustic calibration barge, material analysis laboratory and others. Access to these facilities allows Omnitech to achieve high levels of subsea testing throughout the design and manufacturing stages. Omnitech maintains a full-time staff of professional engineers, software developers, certified engineering technologists and support personnel. Services include custom electronics, software/firmware development and electronics modernization. Products include shipboard systems, maritime security systems, underwater digital arrays, AUV sensor systems and automated test and measurement systems.
