Omniprobe, Inc., a world leader in FIB and SEM accessories enabling "nano-lab" capabilities, was acquired by Oxford Instruments in 2011. In 2015, full integration was implemented with design and manufacturing moving from Dallas to High Wycombe, UK. Products include nanomanipulation solutions for electrical/mechanical testing and sample preparation, as well as a multi-gas injector system for deposition and etching in the SEM or FIB. The original flagship product, arising from a Texas Instruments research project, is the OmniProbe nanomanipulator for TEM sample prep via the "in situ lift-out" method.
