Stockholms Stadsmission är en ideell förening som arbetar för att göra Stockholm till en mänskligare stad för alla. Vi hjälper barn och ungdomar som behöver stöd av en vuxen, barnfamiljer i kris, ensamstående mammor som inte får ihop sin vardag ekonomiskt, unga vuxna som är i behov av terapi, unga föräldrar som behöver stöd och råd, äldre som lever i ensamhet, liksom alla de män och kvinnor som lever i hemlöshet eller missbruk. Vi kliver in där det offentliga samhällets resurser och insatser inte räcker till och anpassar verksamheten utifrån de behov som finns i Stockholm - både akuta och långsiktiga. Utgångspunkten är att det går att förändra livssituationen för alla som har hamnat utanför. Vår viktigaste uppgift är att hjälpa människor att bygga upp en tro på sin egen förmåga och återta makten över sina liv. Detta gör vi genom våra tre verksamhetsområden; Social omsorg, Sociala företag och Skolverksamhet.
