With a focus on ensuring sustainable global presence for contemporary art from Africa, Omenka participates regularly in key art events like; The Armory Show, New York; Docks Art Fair, Lyon; Art Dubai; the Joburg Art Fair; Cape Town Art Fair; Cologne Paper Art; LOOP, Barcelona; Art14 and 1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair, both in London. Additionally, Omenka encourages a cross fertilisation of ideas by collaborating with other prestigious galleries and organisations across the world to bring for the first time to Nigeria, the work of many international artists. In association with Revilo, Omenka has an active publications programme and produces exquisite catalogues with informed, scholarly texts to accompany its schedule of solo, group and large themed exhibitions, through which it stimulates critical thought and discourse centred on contemporary art developments in Nigeria and Africa. Also produced in association with Revilo, is a magazine of the same name, Omenka, widely recognised as Africa’s premium art, business and luxury-lifestyle publication. Omenka also offers a broad range of advisory services including appraisals, collections management, training, art finance, as well as industry reports and due diligence.
