OMCC was formed in the year 2001 by three prominent Christian denominations from Kerala (South India) namely Mar Thoma, CSI and Orthodox/Jacobite. In May of 2003 OMCC was registered in the State of Ohio as a corporation operated exclusively for religous purposes and specifically an ecumenical church whose main purpose is the worship of Jesus Christ. OMCC now holds a service almost once every month and draws attendees from Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati.
