The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design, Norway. The National Museum holds, preserves, exhibits, and promotes public knowledge about, Norway's most extensive collections of art, architecture and design. It shows permanent exhibitions of works from its own collections and temporary exhibitions that incorporate works loaned from elsewhere. The Museum's exhibition venues in Oslo are the National Gallery, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the National Museum – Architecture, and the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design. The Museum's programme also includes exhibitions that tour both within and beyond Norway's borders.

Stiftelsen Norsk Folkemuseum består av Bogstad Gård, Bygdø Kongsgård, Eidsvoll 1814, IBSEN Museum & Teater, Norsk Folkemuseum og Norsk Maritimt Museum. Norsk etnologisk gransking og Norsk Farmasihistorisk Museum er også en del av virksomheten. Stiftelsen har et nasjonalt mandat som kulturhistorisk museum. Vi skal forvalte og formidle kulturarv fra hele landet og alle deler av samfunnet og museene i stiftelsen skal være en kilde til kunnskap og glede for alle. Stiftelsen Norsk Folkemuseum har rundt 230 fast ansatte, fordelt på de ulike delene av virksomheten. I sommersesongen er det opp mot 500 personer som jobber hos oss. Vi leter stadig etter nye dyktige kollegaer og har stor bredde i stillinger innen ulike fagområder og med ulike kompetansekrav. Blant våre ansatte finner du alt fra forskere i kulturhistoriske fag og håndverkere, til ulike stillinger rettet mot våre besøkende, som for eksempel omvisere og kaféansatte.

The Nobel Peace Center is the museum about the Nobel Peace Prize. The permanent installations and the Nobel Peace Prize Exhibitions tell the story of Alfred Nobel and the Nobel Peace Prize laureates and their engaged and groundbreaking work. Located in the heart of Oslo, Norway, the Nobel Peace Center is a place where you can experience and learn about the various Nobel Peace Prize laureates and their activities as well as the remarkable history of Alfred Nobel. It also serves as a meeting place where exhibitions, discussions and reflections related to war, peace, conflict resolution and important social issues are in focus. The Nobel Peace Center has achieved international recognition for the use of documentary photography. It combines exhibits with digital communication and interactive installations, and has already received acclaim for its modern design and use of state-of-the-art technology. The British architect David Adjaye, the American designer David Small and a number of other artists have contributed to making the center what it is today. The Nobel Peace Center is an independent foundation, financed through a combination of private donations and government grants. Close to 250,000 people visit us each year, including over 700 school groups. The Nobel Peace Center is located in an old train station building from 1872, close to the Oslo City Hall and overlooking the harbor. The Center also acts as an arena for debate about important social issues. Through permanent and temporary exhibitions, guided tours, various events and family activities, we wish to inspire reflection and engagement on topics related to war, peace and conflict resolution.
