Olive Express Information

Olive Express builds immersive travel rooms for aged care communities across Australia. These aren't VR headsets. They're physical environments designed to look and feel like luxury train carriages, where residents experience 30 to 45-minute multisensory journeys to destinations around the world, together. The experience is shared and social. Wheelchair accessible, appropriate for frail residents, and designed for people living with dementia. More than 10,000 Australians have experienced Olive Express across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales. Providers including Bupa, BlueCare, Regis, St Vincent's Care, Bolton Clarke and Carinity use it as part of their lifestyle programs. University of Queensland research found measurable improvements in resident wellbeing, mood, engagement and social interaction. In 2026, Olive Express won two awards at the World Ageing Festival in Singapore across both Technology and Programme categories. This isn't an activity. It's infrastructure for meaningful ageing.
