Distinguished Boards and Beams is one of North America's premier providers of reclaimed lumber, barnwood, and flooring products. We're dedicated to exceeding our customers expectations by always delivering the highest quality reclaimed wood products in North America, on time and within budget. Established in 2000, Distinguished Boards and Beams (DBB) is located in the middle of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. With a rich family history in Western Colorado, President Robbie Williams has considerable hands-on experience with every aspect of building with reclaimed wood. After studying architecture at the University of Colorado, Boulder and subsequently working as a project manager overseeing large custom home builds, Mr. Williams began exclusively sourcing reclaimed wood at the start of the millennium, a process that occurred organically. Distinguished Boards and Beams’ first project included the dismantling of an antique hand hewn barn built in New Hampshire during the 1780’s. From there, DBB went on to dismantle old barns and structures throughout the United States and Canada. Operations quickly grew into milling and kiln drying reclaimed wood with a large full-time staff. In 2005, Distinguished Boards and Beams moved into their current location in downtown Carbondale, Colorado, just 30 miles north of Aspen. The Carbondale headquarters has a very large inventory of reclaimed lumber.
