Old World Designs Information

Linda Mendenhall purchased Old World Designs in 1991. Originally at Allied Arts, we have been on Santa Cruz Avenue since 2002. Linda brings fun to any endeavor and has an amazing eye for color and design. We are a full service needlepoint shop with hand painted canvases across many subjects, a scrumptious array of fibers from traditional wools and cottons to yummy silks, metallics, and vegan fibers, and all sorts of fun tools and accessories. Classes , private and group, are available for every level of stitcher. Beginners start with a 1 hour private lesson. Join us Thursday or Friday for weekly stitch-ins with fellow needlepointers. If you are pressed for time, we can create a stitch guide for your canvas and even have it stitched by expert needlepointers. When you have completed your piece we would love to help you have it fabricated. Take a look at our Fabrication Gallery for inspiration. Create art and relieve stress with needlepoint at the Old World Gal Corral. Canvases, kits, books, and special orders are not returnable. Threads with receipt may be returned within 90 days of purchase for store credit. A credit card on file is required for fabrication orders. We will charge you when your completed item arrives in the store. All classes and lessons will be paid in full upon registration. Classes and lessons are non-cancelable and non-refundable. With 10 days notice you may reschedule your class or lesson.
